The Kashi Vishwanath Dham plans to introduce a comprehensive pass system, enhancing the experience for devotees by providing access to darshan, special puja, aarti, boat excursions, a virtual museum, and various tourist attractions, all without the need for separate tickets. The Varanasi Smart City successfully completed the trial phase for the 'Kashi Pass,' signifying an advancement. Let us explore the details of this development.

Devotees can now utilize these facilities through the mobile app "Kashi Pass," ensuring convenient access to darshan, puja-aarti cruises, Sarnath tours, museum visits, and light and sound shows at Man Mahal, including electric bus tickets and parking permits. This approach eliminates the necessity for multiple tickets or separate bookings, simplifying the process for tourists.

Varanasi Smart City takes it a step further by launching the "Varanasi Smart City - Kashi" website, providing a comprehensive overview of Kashi's developmental journey. Users can explore the historical, current, and future aspects of Varanasi with a single click. The inauguration of the Kashi Pass and the Kashi website may be conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aligning with ongoing initiatives at Namo Ghat.

The website will feature visuals, including photos depicting Kashi's cultural richness, markets, shopping centers, historical landmarks, and integrated Google Maps. Additionally, the platform will offer detailed information about accommodations such as hotels, lodges, and dharamshalas, providing phone numbers, room details, rent, and locations. Travel details for air, road, rail, and water routes, catering to both domestic and international visitors, will also be accessible.

This platform goes beyond practicalities, providing an immersive experience into Kashi's illustrious history. Users can delve into the lives of eminent personalities like Sant Kabir Das, Rani Laxmibai, Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, Acharya Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Bharatendu Harishchandra, Jayshankar Prasad, Premchand, Ustad Bismillah Khan, and Acharya Ramchandra Shukla, among others, enriching their understanding of the city's cultural heritage.
