Varanasi. In a grand farewell ceremony, the police personnel of Lanka bid adieu to SHO Brijesh Singh. Singh, who had been serving as the Station House Officer (SHO) of Lanka police station, was given a warm farewell by his colleagues and superiors. He was praised for his outstanding service and dedication to duty during his tenure.

At the same time, SHO Ashwani Pandey, who was recently transferred from Ramnagar, took charge of Lanka police station. His arrival was welcomed by all the personnel of Lanka police station, and he was congratulated on his new role. Pandey, an experienced officer with a reputation for being a strict disciplinarian, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he received.

The reshuffling of responsibilities of four Inspector In charges was announced by the Varanasi Police Commissioner Mutha Ashok Jain. The realignment of responsibilities will take effect immediately, and the concerned officers are expected to comply with the order and submit a compliance report.

As per the order, SHO Ashwani Pandey will take over as the new in-charge of Lanka police station, while Bharat Upadhyay, who was earlier posted at Kotwali, will now be responsible for Ramnagar police station. Ashwini Kumar Chaturvedi has been transferred from Badagaon to Kotwali, and Brijesh Kumar Singh will now be in charge of Badagaon police station.
