January 22, 2024, a significant event is scheduled to take place in Ayodhya as the consecration ceremony of the new idol of Lord Ram will occur in the innermost part of the temple. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Ayodhya has extended invitations to about 50 distinguished individuals from various fields, including spirituality, literature, music, arts, and culture, as well as notable figures from the industrial sector. It is worth noting that the list does not include any names from the political sphere, highlighting a focus on individuals connected with Ayodhya's rich cultural heritage.

Govind Sharma, Sangathan Mantri of Shri Kashi Vidvat Parishad, has been assigned the task of distributing invitation letters to the esteemed guests. The letters emphasize the importance of attending the ceremony and witnessing the consecration of the idol. The distribution of invitation letters began last Friday, and the entire event in Ayodhya is expected to last for three hours, as revealed by Govind Sharma. Approximately seven thousand distinguished individuals from across the country have been invited to participate.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to conduct the sacred ceremony (Pran Pratishtha) of Ram Lalla on January 22. This significant occasion will signify the commencement of rituals at the magnificent Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, where the Prime Minister will also join in the inaugural aarti. After the consecration, Prime Minister Modi is set to visit the majestic temple in Ayodhya to seek the divine blessings of Lord Ram on January 22. On the following day, January 23, all the saints and religious leaders present in Ayodhya will receive prasad in the form of blessings from Ram Lala.


The event is expected to host around seven thousand saints representing various traditions from all over India. Accommodations and meals for the guests will be provided in a tent city. Among the invited individuals are revered figures such as Swami Jeetendranand Saraswati, Mahamandaleshwar Santosh Das Satua Baba, Mahamandaleshwar Mahant Balak Das from Pattharpuri, Mahant Shankar Puri from Annapurna Temple, Mahant Bharat Bhushan from Ravidas Temple, Govind Das Shakhi from Kabir Math, and Prof. Vashisht Tripathi, the President of Shri Kashi Vidvat Parishad. The esteemed list also includes Prof. Vishwambhar Nath Mishra from Sankat Mochan Temple, Padmashree Rajeshwar Acharya, Swami Shivanand, Padashree Ritvik Sanyal, and Prof. Ramnarayan Dwivedi from BHU.
