Somnath. Mukesh Ambani, India's richest man, donated Rs 1.51 crore to the Somnath Temple Trust during his visit to the temple on Mahashivaratri. Mukesh Ambani and his son Akash Ambani arrived at the temple early in the morning to seek blessings from Lord Shiva and offer their prayers.

Upon their arrival at the temple, Mukesh Ambani and Akash Ambani were welcomed by the temple authorities, who escorted them inside to perform the Abhishek to Lord Shiva. They offered flowers and other religious offerings to the deity, while the priest hoisted the dushala by applying sandalwood paste as a mark of respect.
