Varanasi is abuzz with anticipation as Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares for his 42nd visit scheduled for December 17, embarking on a two-day tour. The route from Babatpur Airport to Cutting Memorial Ground is poised for a lively roadshow, where supporters of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will express their enthusiasm with cheers of "Badhai ho, Modi ji" and chants of "Modi-Modi" and "Har-Har Mahadev." Throughout the procession, flower showers will grace Prime Minister Modi at various points.

In Barki village, a public meeting convened, bringing together party officials, including BJP Kashi region president Dilip Patel, MLAs, and district officials. Patel emphasized the significance of this visit, as it marks Prime Minister Modi's first return to Varanasi following notable victories in the elections of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. The residents of Kashi eagerly await the arrival of their Member of Parliament and the nation's Prime Minister.

Preparations are in full swing at Swarved Temple premises and Barki, emphasizing public outreach across all eight assembly constituencies. Special attention is directed toward Sevapuri and Rohaniya, with meetings held at various levels, including district, mandal, power centers, and booths.

To ensure security, Additional Superintendent of Police Gomti Zone, Sarvannan T., utilized drones for a thorough survey of the rally venue surroundings. Measures are actively taken against unlicensed firearms in nearby villages, ensuring a safe environment for the event.

At the Barki venue, sanitation workers have initiated cleanup efforts, addressing uneven terrain. Inspection reports indicate progress on the waterproof pandal, stage, safe house, helipad, and vehicle parking, all slated for completion by the evening of December 16. Varanasi is gearing up for a grand reception as it prepares to host the momentous visit of the Prime Minister.
