The Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA) has been implemented by the government across the nation. The act provides Indian Citizenship to the persecuted non-Muslim minorities from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and, Afghanistan who have arrived in India before 2014.

Fued between the central government and the opposition continues over the matter. Amidst the verbal political assault, Today, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal attacks the central government questioning the significance of CAA.

Arvind Kejriwal further adds to the point that, a large number of minorities will be brought from these nations and will be provided with employment and residential facilities to settle them down in the country, which is strange.

CM Kejriwal said, the central government fails to employ our own children but wishes to provide for it to the Pakistanis. He states that the money of the Indian government which should be spent on the holistic development of the nation is being put to utility in settling down people from Pakistan. Approximately, 2.5 to 3 crore minorities reside in these nations and if India opens its door to them, how will the crowd be sustained in the country?,questions Delhi CM.

He airs his concern that even if out of 3 crores only 1.5 crore people are let into India, who exactly will provide employment to them and where will they be eventually settled?

He accused BJP of vote bank politics regarding CAA and said that the whole game is of dirty politics. From these three nations, 1.5 -2 crore people would be brought to India and selectively settled in different parts of the country, so they could gain votes from areas where they lacked it, creating a successful vote bank.
