Actor Shine Pandey is eagerly anticipating the release of his debut web series, 'UP65.' The upcoming show, based on the Hindi novel of the same name by Nikhil Sachan, is set to premiere on Jio Cinema on June 8th. Directed by Gaganjeet Singh, the series features Shine Pandey in the lead role.

Expressing his excitement about his acting debut, Shine shares his mixed emotions, stating, "I am really excited, but it's also a mixed feeling. This will be the first time that my friends, family, and everyone who knows me will see me on screen. It's overwhelming to think about it, but also exciting. Looking back five years ago, I never imagined any of this happening, but I always believed in myself. So, all of this feels magical, and I am grateful for every passing hour."

Describing his character in the show, Shine reveals, "'Nishant Kumar' is a boy from Kanpur who is sincere, motivated, and childlike. He believes he can excel and grow in life through studies and book knowledge. However, the universe has different plans for him at every step. On June 8th, 2023, you'll need to join Nishant's journey and experience everything he feels and discovers to understand this beautiful boy."

Recalling how he landed the role, Shine explains, "I received a call from the casting team asking me to audition for the character of Nishant in the show UP65. Initially, I wasn't very keen on it, and I might have been preoccupied with other work, so I didn't even remember about it for a week. They called me again, and then I auditioned and forgot about it. After around three months, on December 3rd, 2021, I was selected for the role of Nishant."

Reflecting on his journey into acting, Shine shares, "I would say in the 12th standard, I was a lost soul in life, trying to figure everything out and not ready for college or a regular 9-to-5 job. At that time, I was studying in a coaching institute in Hyderabad, preparing for engineering entrance exams. I had given up on it and didn't want to study further. One evening, one of my hostel roommates suggested that I try acting, even though I had no idea about it. But his belief in me made me think that maybe I could give it a shot. So, I started looking for auditions in Hyderabad, but I had no idea how to approach it. Eventually, I decided to go to Mumbai because that's where it all happens. I felt very excited about it."

He continues, "After conducting some research, I realized that I needed to find an acting school in Mumbai to start my journey. However, I had to figure out how to break the news to my mother that I didn't want to study anymore and that I wanted to go to Mumbai. Surprisingly, my mom was supportive and believed that it was my journey. Her support was really helpful, and in 2018, I came to Mumbai during the monsoon season and joined Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares acting school. I completed my diploma in acting there, and ever since then, I've been drawn to this craft. I realized that this is what I want to do in life. From that point on, I began learning many new things and having more faith in myself. Thus, a new chapter in my life began."

In addition to Shine Pandey, the series also features talented actors such as Pritam Jaiswal, Abbas Ali Ghaznavi, Jay Thakar, Pragati Mishra, Ria Nalavade, and

Anmol Jyotir in pivotal roles. With an exciting premise and a talented cast, 'UP65' is poised to captivate audiences when it premieres on June 8th, 2023, on Jio Cinema.
