The commencement of the five day Deepotsav has brought an air of anticipation to Ayodhya as the city gears up for a distinctive celebration. Today, Ayodhya is set to illuminate 24 lakh lamps, aspiring to establish a world record for the highest number of lamps lit during the auspicious occasion of Chhoti Diwali. Simultaneously, elaborate arrangements are in progress to light 21 lakh lamps on the Ram Ki Paidi, aiming for yet another world record. To achieve this feat, an additional 3 lakh 60 thousand lamps will be added to the luminous display.

The arrival of Lord Rama in Ayodhya will be marked by grandeur as he descends in a helicopter reminiscent of Pushpak Viman. Leading the procession in Ramkatha Park will be Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel, culminating in the symbolic coronation of Lord Rama in the role of Vashishtha. Ayodhya's ghats have been adorned in preparation for the festivities, with an 80 lakh rupees firework display planned on the Sarayu Bridge.

Distinguished dignitaries, including the Chief Minister, will witness the spectacular fireworks from the picturesque banks of the Sarayu River. The residents of Ramnagar have joyfully adorned their homes, evoking memories of embellishments during the Treta Yuga following Rama's victory in Lanka.
