New Delhi. Unknown individuals pelted stones at Asaduddin Owaisi's Delhi residence on Sunday evening, causing damage to the windows, according to the police. Owaisi, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief, filed a complaint with the police. He claimed that this was the fourth such attack at his residence and urged the police to take immediate action and apprehend the culprits.

After the incident, the AIMIM leader contacted the authorities and registered a formal complaint, in which Owaisi accused unknown culprits of throwing stones at his residence in Delhi.

At around 5:30 pm, the incident took place at the AIMIM chief's residence in the Ashoka Road area of Delhi. After receiving information, a team of Delhi police led by an Additional DCP visited the site and gathered evidence

Owaisi lodged a complaint at Parliament Street Police Station, stating that his residence was vandalized by a group of unidentified miscreants who pelted stones and caused damage to windows. Upon returning to his residence at 11:30 pm, Owaisi noticed the broken windows and stones lying around. He was informed by his domestic help that the incident occurred around 5:30 pm, when a group of troublemakers threw stones at the residence.

The AIMIM leader stated that his residence has been attacked in a similar manner for the fourth time since 2014. He highlighted that there are CCTV cameras in the surrounding area, and authorities should access them to apprehend the perpetrators immediately.

According to Owaisi, it is concerning that the incident occurred in a location that is considered a "high-security" area. He reported that he has filed a complaint with the police and that they have already arrived at his residence.

Owaisi has called for the expeditious arrest of the individuals responsible for the attack on his residence. He stressed the urgency of taking immediate action in response to the attack to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.

The police reached the AIMIM leader's house to collect evidence and have initiated an investigation into the incident. They have also registered a case and are reviewing the CCTV footage from the area as part of their efforts to identify the perpetrators.
