Varanasi. Postmaster General of Varanasi Zone, Krishna Kumar Yadav, was recently honored at the "Uttar Pradesh Ki Baat: Azamgarh Se" event organized by Zee News Group, Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand. The event felicitated all the eminent personalities associated with Azamgarh, including Krishna Kumar Yadav, who was presented the award by Cabinet Minister for Labour and Employment, Coordination Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Anil Rajbhar.

Krishna Kumar Yadav, a multifaceted personality who hails from Tehbarpur in Azamgarh district, has made significant contributions as an administrator, litterateur, thinker, and blogger. He has published seven books in different genres and has been featured in newspapers and magazines across the country and abroad. His life story has been chronicled in the book "Badhte Charan Shikhar Ki Ore: Krishna Kumar Yadav".

Krishna Kumar Yadav has been the recipient of numerous honors and honorary degrees from prestigious socio-literary institutions in India and abroad. He has been awarded the "Awadh Samman" by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, "Literary Honor" by West Bengal Governor Late Keshari Nath Tripathi, and the "Vigyan Parishad Centenary Award" by Chhattisgarh Governor Shekhar Dutt. He has also been recognized internationally, receiving awards at the International Bloggers Conference held in Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka.

Yadav has been actively promoting Hindi literature and has traveled to several countries, including London, France, Germany, Netherlands, South Korea, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, in the course of his departmental responsibilities. His family has a rich literary heritage, with three generations being actively involved in literature. His father, Ram Shiv Murthy Yadav, and his wife, Akanksha, are well-known bloggers and writers, while his daughter Akshita (Pakhi) is the youngest recipient of the National Child Award for her achievements.
