He explained that Jio has launched "True 5G service" in 277 cities throughout India, deploying over 40,000 sites and nearly 2.5 lakh cells of 5G network in both the 700 MHz and 3500 MHz bands, making it the largest 5G deployment in the country.

Akash Ambani also stated that their company, Jio, is working towards achieving its goal of expanding its 5G services across various cities, towns, and talukas in India on a monthly basis. The aim is to cover every town, taluka, and tehsil in the country by December 2023, which would make it the fastest 5G rollout in the world.
